Serving Northwestern Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Services for new refugees includes transitional cash assistance, health benefits, and a wide variety of social services, funded through the United States Office of Refugee Resettlement Grants. The primary focus is employment services such as job training, job development, orientation to the workplace and job counseling. To further assist in family adjustment to the United States, additional services are offered such as family strengthening, youth and elderly services, adjustment counseling, and mental health services.

New Roots for Refugees is a sustainable urban farm designed to empower refugee women from Africa and Asia. With 16 different farmers selling at 11 different area markers, produce is available for sale at Farmers Markets throughout the Kansas City metro area.

English as a second language is offered through a partnership with Don Bosco Center and Penn Valley Community College. Students are tested at registration to determine their level of proficiency, and then enrolled into an appropriate class. The curriculum is designed to not only teach the language, but also aspects of American daily life, culture and traditions.

Adult Education assists students to value a life-time learning by helping them acquire their General Equivalency Degree (GED) in Spanish. Multi-level English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction improves the proficiency of non-native speakers and ensures they participate fully in the democratic process. Citizenship Preparation Classes include a review of questions for the exam and discussion about United States history, government, and politics.

Whoever the governor is in Kansas City please persuade those 31 governors that they are not terrorist they are in war people are sick they need medication,food,they have children it makes me sad how are these people saying no to it.President Barack Obama is right no matter how people say it they need help so I am standing up to those 31 governors who say no to it.I can persuade every person and tell them you need to let them in.
